What's provided - Our Services

We understand that the 11 Plus journey is a challenging one, our aim is to make it a pleasurable one - after all your child only has one opportunity at this experience.

Once enrolled your child will benefit from the carefully selected resources that we have put together. 

Your child will undertake around 40 sessions which is around 100 hours tuition in our centres. 

We provide homework and extra support sessions where required. 

Feedback is provided to you so that you're aware where your child is on this crucial journey. 

One monthly cost covers all the resources required, as well as the 60 different mocks your child will be sitting - we even provide stationary so all you need to do is bring your child to our centre.

Targeted Learning

 We use metrics to identify areas for improvement and will provide targeted learning to boost your child's confidence and skills for exam success.

We also understand that feedback is very important and we will engage with you regularly.

Resources

We provide all the resources required and even the stationary, so all you need to do is bring your child to our centre. 

Mock Exams

Our year 5 students will sit more than 60 different mock exams which are carefully prepared to simulate the actual grammar test and include similar time conditions, style of questions, same font and typeset.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

My child is academically talented, would we need tuition for the 11 Plus exam?

As well as testing Maths and English, the Grammar test a child's Verbal and Non-verbal reasoning which are two subjects not taught in school. It is therefore prudent to prepare and familiarise your child with these subjects. 

At 11 Plus Tuition Champions, we will also prepare your child to deal with the 11 Plus exam conditions, format and time management. 

Our mock exams simulate the actual exam and we provide performance analysis and feedback to identify areas where we then work on improvement.

When is the best time to start my child in 11 Plus tuition?

Most parents start the 11 plus tuition from the September of Year 4. This is simply because of the competitive nature of the 11plus process. There are only a limited amount of spaces within the grammar schools with 1000's of applicants. 

We do offer classes from Year 3, for those parents looking to enhance their child’s basic Maths and English skills.

However, there are children who have started our course in Year 5 and got into a grammar school. 

Can't I just tutor my child myself?

There are several materials out there to prepare your child for the grammar test which you can purchase. However, choosing the effective ones is challenging. We at 11 Plus Tuition Champions have the resources and expertise which is all included within the package, and our course is designed to give your child a greater chance in passing the grammar test.
