We believe creating the right environment for your child to succeed - this is why one monthly cost covers all the resources your child will need.
If your child starts on our Year 5 course they will undertake our 13-month programme which is around 100 hours study in our tuition centre. Our fees work out to be £25 per hour and this includes:
- 2.5 hours session per week - 4 sessions in one month
- 20 Monthly Mock Exams - Simulating the actual grammar test
- 40 weekly tests, including weekly Mock Exams, on all core 11-Plus subjects within our Online Portal - 10-weekly lessons, covering multiple different topics, over four terms
- Adaptive Learning Module - AI integrated learning module that targets weak areas
- Printed exercise and test books - such as Schofield & Simms, CGP books, and others - all suited for the grammar test
- Printed resources - to use in lessons
- Stationary with exercise books
The 13 month course starts mid-late August and ends one week before the grammar exam in September. If your child starts later they will need to catch up (support is provided) to get them up to speed.
Generally each term will include one session each on the following core subjects: English Comprehension, VR, NVR, Maths, Mock Exam, Mock Review, English and VR Workshops, and NVR and Maths Workshops.
Your child will have several tests to complete through our online Portal. The contents of the tests includes the subjects: NVR, VR, English Comprehension, Wordy Maths, Quick Maths, Mock Exam. These tests will cover GL type assessments but there will be some CEM areas such as Synonyms and Antonyms to challenge your child and prepare them for any eventuality as we are aware that last year there was one element of CEM type questions in the actual exam.
There are around 10 different targeted exercise books that will be provided for your child to complete - these will be completed in tuition and at home.
Your child will undertake around 100 hours of study in our tuition centre. Your child will need to carry out a few hours a week at home to ensure the appropriate level of homework has been completed. We will provide a structured homework log and the relevant homework for your child to complete.
Our 11 Plus course is a structured and an intensive programme developed to stretch and challenge your child. We provide a large number of resources for your child to get through. Whilst this ensures your child is sufficiently prepared for the grammar test, we are mindful of not burning them out. We want them to enjoy the journey - not develop a hate for studying. There will be short breaks, in line with the school holidays, for your child to rest and recharge.
